| What is a charitable trust? |
Trusts whose purpose is public interest such as charity, culture, academic studies, crafts, religious, religious sacrifice offering or other public interests, that have been approved by regulators for the purpose of the public interest and then formed accordingly, are charitable trusts. In other words, it is a trust service in which the donors (grantors, including individuals and corporations) deliver the assets in their possession to our bank (the trustee) for the purpose of public interest and the trustee manages such assets as specified by the contract to achieve the purpose of promoting public interest designated by the donor, and the trustee is under the oversight of supervisors of the trust and regulators.
